LayerCraft is a simple tool that converts photos to layered SVG/PNG/DXF for cutting machines. We designed it to be privacy-friendly.

Processing Modes

• Local Mode (default): All processing happens in your browser. Images are not uploaded to our servers.
• Server Mode (optional): For faster/HQ jobs, images are sent to our API. We store them temporarily to process your request, then auto-delete within ≤ 60 minutes.

Information We Collect

• Waitlist/Email: If you join the waitlist, we collect your email and optional survey answers (machine type, feature preferences, etc.).
• Analytics: We may use privacy-friendly analytics (e.g., Plausible) to measure visits and conversions. No cookies for tracking ad profiles.
• Payments/Sponsorship: Donations or purchases are handled by third-party processors (e.g., Ko-fi, Stripe). We don’t store card details.

Data Retention

• Local Mode: No image data leaves your device.
• Server Mode: Images and derivatives auto-delete within ≤ 60 minutes. Logs may include generic, non-PII request metadata.
• Emails: Retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

Your Choices

• Use Local Mode for maximum privacy.
• Unsubscribe from emails at any time via the footer link in any email.
• Request deletion of your email data by contacting us.

Third Parties

We may link to or integrate with services like Tally (forms), Buttondown/Beehiiv (emails), Ko-fi/Stripe (payments), and Plausible (analytics). Their use is governed by their own policies.

Children

LayerCraft is not intended for children under 13. Do not submit personal data for children.

Changes

We may update this policy. We’ll adjust the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify subscribers.
